Not all those who wander are lost

Inspired by medieval folding almanacs, the project explores the idea of a pocket map, which is always available, but also adaptable. A map's purpose should be to provide a stable image of an area, so the traveller can always see the fixed position of landmarks, making it easier to navigate with certainty. The folding almanac's structure allows the parts of the map to connect with each other, however it might be folded.  This way the stability is taken away, making the map useless for its original purpose. The illustrations show a surreal dreamworld, where the mind is welcome to wander aimlessly, and to get lost in its own imagination.
