Employee testimonial (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️):
“Some say that we’ve never had a happy customer, and I can’t speak to that, but what I can tell you is that we’ve never had a disappointed one. Every person that’s ever walked through that door has gotten exactly what they wanted. Some of our most frequent repeat customers are some of the most driven and ambitious people you’ll ever meet, and they’re here all the time. And why wouldn’t they be? We’re always trying to get the best out of our patrons, and that means always reminding them of how they could be more productive with their time. They live what they do, so it never feels like work - it’s everything else that feels like labour. It’s everyone else outside of these doors whose expectations are too high, whose demands are unfair, and who might still end up abandoning you anyway. You shouldn’t be judged for not having the emotional capacity to deal with that - especially not right now. Not ever.

That’s what makes our environment so inviting, we don’t ever make our patrons feel uncomfortable in any way whatsoever. This is a safe space.”

The Workers: Waiter
customer review (👎🏿):

“i’ve been meaning to write this for a while now, but stuff just kept getting in the way. honestly, i hardly ever come here except when i’m on my way to work. the coffee’s okay, but i mostly just come to use the wifi to check my work emails before going into the office, not that the connection’s not that great, but it’s decent enough to allow me to check my feeds and get all the distractions out of the way so i can get started on work. occasionally, a waiter will bother me just as i’m getting into a workflow, though, and i’ll end up having to get another refill and refreshing my feeds so i get a real rhythm going again. i’ve been trying to be more disciplined so i don’t check or reply to any texts whenever i’m here. if i’m really behind on a deadline, though, sometimes the owner will let me stay behind and lock up. plus, they all know that i always like to stay busy, so every now and again he’ll let me make some cash on the side by serving another customer. not today, though. got too much to get through today, just right after i finish this one thing.”
