Venice Hidden Flame ( "La Fiamma Segreta di Venezia" ) is a collective project, a non-fictional short movie which took shape after visiting three Venetian craft firms, the Orsoni Furnace, Valese Foundry and Berta Battiloro (gold leaf handcraft).
The outcome is a visual tale about the cyclical nature of work, the uniqueness of the materials and, most of all, the fundamental presence of fire, which is - along with the sounds and noises - the movie’s linking thread.
