I'm a musical fan. "Gigi," which won best picture in 1958, made a visual impact on me as a child. I love the art nouveau era of fashion, interior design, architecture and graphic design. I love white tie affairs, beautiful parties, stained glass, and white opera gloves. The final scene of the film I have always deeply enjoyed - the silence of it, and the expansive score. This one isn't particularly deep compared to my other pieces, I simply made it to express my love of the beauty of the final shots of the film. Beauty should be savored simply for the joy of it. It's nice to make something simply because of beauty.
