Adaptação digital de colagem a partir de jornais, revistas e brochuras, 420 x 594 mm

Este projeto surge no âmbito da proposta da criação de um spread editorial a partir de uma colagem manual. Para esse efeito, reuni materiais gráficos como revistas, jornais, livros, brochuras, entre outros. Recortei-os e "brinquei" com eles ao combiná-los, recombiná-los, sobrepondo-os, recortando-os. Abaixo, estão algumas experiências, entre elas aquela que levou a uma adaptação digital. Apesar de perder a plasticidade da colagem, retém a riqueza do layout e o espírito lúdico das cores e fontes utilizadas. No entanto, tentei também torná-lo mais denso com diferentes pesos e tamanhos. O texto com que preenchi a página foi o primeiro capítulo do guião do filme "E Tudo o Vento Levou (1939) de Victor Fleming (1889 —1949) por ser um filme de que gosto muito, e por comportar diferentes características e necessidades tipográficas em termos de destaque e organização por se tratar de um guião.

Digital adaptation of a collage made from newspaper, magazine and brochure clippings, 420 x 594 mm

This project was born from the concept of coming up with an editorial spread from an analog collage. In order to do so, I gathered materials such as magazines, newspapers, books and brochures. I played around with cuttings from these materials by mixing them all together, overlaying them and positioning them in many different ways. Below are some of my experiments, among them is the one that I later adapted digitally. Despite losing some of the plasticity of the original collage, it retained its richness and the playful spirit from the colours and unconventional positions. However, I've tried to give it more depth by using different font weights and sizes. The text I chose to fill the page with is the first chapter from the script of "Gone With The Wind" (1939), by Victor Fleming (1889 —1949) because it's a movie I enjoy very much, and also because due to the fact it is part of a script, it has specific typographic and layout needs.
