Melatonin
A private commission in memory of the client's good old days. In the image she's driving alone on the highway during midnight, without knowing the destination. Lover's hand, party ballons and the snowman build up a transparent layer of her joyful memories, which is quickly passing by while she's driving ahead. The idea of retrofuturism is applied in this illustration. Is time going backward if all the endings are determined? The moment she anticipates the end of the highway will soon be a part of the past. In this case what is the difference between the past and the future? This illusive image with a sense of parallel reality was merged in my head, as a result of the thoughts above.
