ADXTUR's mission is to increase the region's attractiveness. To do so nowadays means bringing together new key players who, along with the villages and the communities, can find new ways of activating these village's skills. For us the villages are a school and we're looking to stimulate the relationship with this knowledge and the scientific, technical and artistic know-how.

Within the Aldeias do Xisto Laboratory, students and teachers of the design course at the University of Aveiro were challenged to develop works related to nature, water and the dark sky throughout the 2018/19 school year.
