A comparison between the old and new cover design. I attempted to create more space on the page to make the coverphotos a lot more visible as they were drowned in boxes on the previous design. The client didn't want me to stray too far away from the previous design, because the magazine is sold in shops and due to it sometimes being placed behind other magazines, you want the header to clearly signify what the magazine is about. So I kept the zodiac and title high on the page. Despite presenting a lot of alternative layouts, the client preferred this design.
