In order to address SIFA 2019's key messaging of Game Changer where they feature performers that challenged and shifted perspectives, the concept of 'Oil/Water' was born.
The concept explores the relationship where 'oil and water cannot be mixed' yet ironically, creates a fascinating imagery of how impossible is nothing when artists push the boundaries to reinvent and ignite imaginations. The rippling effect caused by impact is an expression of the energy radiating from the performers that transcends through the world of creative arts.
