We've been working alongside Facebook and the UN to tackle the rise of domestic violence during lockdown. It's been a tough journey, but we're proud of what we've achieved so far.

In Argentina, we've seen reports of domestic violence increase by up to 40% during lockdown. That's a worrying statistic, and it's even more concerning when you consider that at least 67 victims of femicides, transvesticides, and transfemicides were reported during isolation.

To combat this issue, Facebook came up with a fantastic program called #StayInTouch. It's designed to help women who are isolated with their abusers, and it encourages family and friends to get involved and do something to help.

Our role in this project was to provide victims with simple advice and quick access to helplines. It sounds like a straightforward task, but it was actually a real challenge. We had to find a way to represent violence without being too graphic. After all, we wanted victims to be able to watch our videos even if their abusers were nearby. That's why we opted for a colorful and playful style instead of explicitly showing violent scenes.

All in all, this project has been incredibly rewarding. We're proud to be part of a team that's making a real difference to the lives of women who are suffering during lockdown. And we're confident that, with the help of #StayInTouch and other similar initiatives, we can continue to fight against domestic violence and provide support to those who need it most.
