This was a 6-month project working in an agile development team with a government product owner at the BCDevExchange Lab, to develop an online service aimed at public sector application developers.

The application allows a developer to step through a wizard format to input information about their organization’s online application to generate API credentials to enable them to hook up their application with the BC Services Card login mechanism. This will allow BC residents with a mobile-enabled BC Services Card to login to their organization’s application to use their online services with a high level of assurance.

I created the design of the user interface (UI) in accordance with the BC Government Design System, branding requirements and accessibility standards. 

Conducting user feedback sessions with developers and Early Adopters of the application along the way allowed me to work with the developers in our team to tailor the system and the user experience in an agile way, to best meet user needs. 

Designed in iterations with feedback from test users and Early Adopters in an agile environment allowing for design and development to run in tandem. 

New issues and design changes were prioritized to ensure that the most critical screens and issues were worked on first.

This allows the users to complete various technical and compliance sections asynchronously over multiple visits.
