Hope for Justice's profile

Hope for every Girl

Anti-Slavery Day is on the 8th of October in the UK and really wanted to bring a bit of team spirit, whilst being as creative as possible for this day of awareness. We worked on a collaboration with illustrator Hannah Wheeler, editor Dan Thompson and Musician John Headley (aka Modo Stare) to create a video that had the aim of explaining a bit of the why's and what's of what we do here at Hope for Justice.

Hannah's illustrations are absolutely fantastic and we were so excited when she said she could work with us and as you can see she did an amazing job, along with Dan's superb (as always!) editing and animation skills we were on to a winner.

For a long time after the film was compiled, we struggled with the music, trying various styles, upbeat, simple even almost dancy, but then came a touch of genius from our great friend John Headley.

Once complete, the impact was huge, with millions of people sharing and watching, we consider it an absolute success, thanks to our supporters for and the collaboration of some of the worlds greatest!

Please feel free to share this video via this link: tiny.cc/antislaveryday and also please do go and take a look at Hannah's, Dan's and John's Work, and get them involved in some of your own projects, they all come highly recommended!
Just some of the amazing illustration and storyboarding Hannah drew up (an art in itself!)
