This work does not have much explanation, here I have set up the lighting scheme used in the photo of Duncan, three flashes bowens gemini 500, one of them to make the light from the side against a strip and a giraffe and square window did against the other light to illuminate but also top hat and give more volume.
The main light with a window I got pretty close to Duncan and fill the face shadows with a reflector to soften the shadows created by the hat and leather areas of the shell, thus save me touch on all the eyes and shadows
As background photo I made on June 6 last year at 11 in the morning
