THE HAPPY BOX

The goal for my main project this year was to educate people about happiness and help them learn to be happier.

So I've created The Happy Box - a resource for schools and anyone who needs it. It contains a workbook, a journal, a little book of happy tips, postcards, stickers and a pack of sunflower seeds.

The aim is to encourage users to become more aware of what brings them joy and be mindful of the things they can do to increase their subjective well-being.
BOX / PACKAGINGIt’s eye-catching, fun, informal, and doesn’t seem like a boring classroom activity. I think it represents the contents of the box really well.
WORKBOOK - an interactive activity book for children to fill in and learn about happiness and mental well-being. It prompts the user to think about themselves and others, and how they can help bring more happiness to the world.
JOURNAL - to encourage children to keep track of the things that bring them joy in their daily lives. It provides prompts for them to appreciate and be grateful for even the tiny things that sometimes go unnoticed.
THE LITTLE BOOK OF HAPPY TIPS - full of practical and thoughtful tips for being a happier human. The pages can be removed and used as postcards.
POSTCARDS - to send messages of positivity to loved ones or to pin up around the home/school/community.
STICKERS - a bit of fun, to help spread the positive message of The Happy Box further than the classroom.
SUNFLOWER SEEDS - to teach children a wee bit about nature and how it can have a positive impact on mental health. It also encourages time outdoors away from screens.
