The Green Material Library is a central space for design students to expose themselves to materials and books under the same roof. The requirement of such a space comes out of the absence of such a space in Sushant School of Design. The design brief for the same also included to focus on steel as a structural material.
The ground floor of the library is being utilized for displaying materials that are used on a regular basis by designers and to allow students to explore the same. The top floor on the other hand, hosts the library for design related books. Racks for both spaces are designed optimally to ensure proper user of space.
