Visual Posters
The series of visual posters I made are inspired by the work of Patrick Thomas. The method is to use factual information found by daily newsprint, and response by drawing and create generated graphic forms in a way of utilizing the process of silkscreen printing.
The project started by conducting initial research into the offerings of 3 information sources, which are the articles :
Next is to respond to the articles and include a reflection on branding in these contexts, develop the responses in two clear ideas and conclusion by identifying the main ideas in the articles. Then I developed the visual imagery needed by drawing all the elements and create image manipulations that matches the idea that I am going for.
The poster reflects on the current situation of the world, where businesses use their audiences fear of the pandemic as a marketing strategy. It is also focused on how brands are just an intimate individuals trying to be different from others.
