SHUTDOWN FM is a collaborative based project, conceived prior to the looming lockdown caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. The live streaming station was built to promote freelance DJ's as well as providing the public entertainment during this tough time. Live events were obviously cancelled outright. However Shutdown FM brings the party to your own livingroom, Including live events for Grampian Pride and MayDay. The station hosted popular Aberdeen based club nights ALL NIGHT PASSION as well as Local DJ HomeAlone's regular Sunday slot Sunday Isolation. 

The promotional material was based on old pirate radio posters, with the posters mainly seen on social media as a way of promoting who was on that night. 

The logo makes reference to old pirate radio station logos as well as the headphones and jack cable referencing the DJ's.
