Carne de Caimán: La Odisea de Amar en la Era Digital
This book is made of 27 stories, memories, thoughts and sometimes it becomes a travel notebook. This digital odyssey, like Homer's, is the journey of a man with its lights and shadows.
It is this contrast between the virtual and the real —which is generated by opposing elements of the digital world with an imaginary of the classic ancient ideal of beauty— what unites the 27 texts. At the same time, to reinforce the self-fictional style of the book, memories, —real or made up– like trapped between the pages of the book, reinforce each story.
Limited edition of 500 books numbered and intervened
manually, making every book a unique piece.
This is a book on which form and content are indivisible, with a design that enriches the ideas of each text, as well as the global concept that articulates all the stories.
We also designed promotional posters for the book, with sculptures of men holding a phone like swiping on Grindr, representing the main thread of the book, combining at the same time the classical world with the digital love.
