The digitalization, changing customer values and the climate change are going to challenge product focused companies like Kärcher to search for alternative and more sustainable business models within the next 10 years. Using an holistic design approach I created a vision for the future of the Kärcher brand and their products - a rental ecosystem that includes the needs of future customers, the society and the company.
The goal of this project was to create a vision that addresses future challenges for the Kärcher brand within the next 10 years. To support this vision and the transformation of the brand it was necessary to establish a new and coherent design aesthetic. Testing the current products helped to learn about the brand and gave ideas how Kärcher products of the future should look and feel like - that are designed for the rental ecosystem.
