“Poesia á Mesa” is a cycle of poetry designed for one year (2013). It happens in Legendary Coffee in Sintra, monthly, every last Tuesday of each month.
The poems are read before dinner by the actor/performer invited for the night. Poems are told by actors and chosen by themselves.
The idea was to create a more free and expressive language, building dialogues with a personal handwriting. The background was done with the table paper of Portuguese restaurants, with this element we got a quick association with the event space.
There are 12 performances, one in each month. The different posters & flyer’s are changing the element table (fork, knife, glass). Now we have a funny design piece and also collectible. •
