The vision behind KEPZ is a unique concept for Bangladesh in the sense that it is not only bringing in foreign investment but also bringing in technology, requiring the need to develop highly skilled managers and technical people and which in turn will serve to develop the total skill level of the country.

Keeping in line with this vision KEPZ will be creating a special zone to provide the necessary services for the population of this area, which is vital to ensure growth and sustainability of the EPZ.

These special zones will have two roles, firstly, to introduce an IT park that will be the future of the Hi-Tech Industry, and also a business development zone that will open up new business, and secondly, to provide essential support services in the form of education, medicare, commercial, recreational facilities like hospital, will not only serve the new development but also the rest of the KEPZ.
