Artist book based on J.S. Bach's last music piece, the Art of Fugue. This artist book is supposed to show the contradiction of his unfinished masterpiece and his deteriorating health condition and criticisms he received during his lifetime.
THE ART OF FUGUE is an incomplete musical work by Johann Sebastian Bach (b. 1685). It consists of 14 experimental variations of one principal subject written in the last decade of his life. He suffered problems with his eyesight and lost it entirely after his surgery in 1750 and died 4 months after.
