The Apocalypse Survivor

Inspired by the famous painting of German romantic artist Caspar David Friedrich “Wanderer above the Mist or Mountaineer “. A lonely man standing above a rock, his back facing the viewer, looking into the mist.
According to critics, this work of art is a metaphor of an unknown future, of long years of wandering, or maybe self-searching in my point of view.
It’s clear that the current circumstances has impacted my interpretation, here in my editing, I see the traveler of Caspar in another planet! His infinite travels have finally paid off, he is the survivor of the apocalypse, however, he is alone, again, in another world, way far from the earth mist…

inspirée par l’œuvre du peintre allemand Caspar David Friedrich « Le Voyageur au-dessus de la mer de nuages » un homme, seul, debout sur un rocher en hauteur, le dos tourné au spectateur, le regard dans le brouillard.
Selon les critiques le tableau serait une métaphore de l’avenir inconnu, de l’errance, ou bien de la quête de soi à mon avis.
Il est claire que les circonstances actuelles ont influencé mon interprétation, je vois le voyageur de #caspar sur une autre planète, ses errances ont porté fruit, il a échappé à l’apocalypse, mais il s’est retrouvé encore une fois seul dans un autre univers, loin de la brume terrestre.
