Monsters University / Robot Class 2013
After watching the prequel movie of Monsters Inc. I was hooked by the whole story and the new characters, so as a side -fun- project, I decided to make my tribute to it with a little twist.
I present to you the honorary class of Monsters University, robot edition!

Character Design
My interpretation of the characters was to reduce them into simple basic geometric forms, with some robotic graphic details to develop a futuristic appeal, the whole idea is to portray them as intelligent machines, at the same time I've mantained the special features that make every single character unique. I chose my favorite 6 and here's the result:
