In my designs I always try to balance on the edge of raw and minimal, function and esthetics.

With the Globe chair I combined hardwood with plywood hold together by a metal frame.
While the hardwood shows more the raw nature of the wood with details such as mortise and tenon connections,  the seating is more light and sensitive.  The flexibility of the seating and the segments make sure that they adjust to the user sitting in it which creates the comfort.
