This piece investigates the work of Jean Dubuffet’s portfolio of works ​Les Phénomènes. Specifically, I was inspired by his ​Soil Element I​ (​Elément de sol I​) and ​Transitory Spectacle of Water (Spectacle transitoire de l'eau) ​from the portfolio ​Earth and Water​ (​La Terre et l'eau) from Phenomena​ (​Les Phénomènes) (1958).
