OHCHR Event Human Rights Day / Branding / Event


In a country like Cambodia, which is actively pursuing and working towards Sustainable Development Goals, promoting human rights is still a priority.

The objective of the event was to celebrate and raise awareness of human rights among young Cambodians. This one-day celebration was the culmination of the four-month long campaign organized by UN Human Rights Cambodia, which aimed at creating a friendly and inclusive platform for the young generation to exercise their right to participation. A broad communications campaign will have been delivered to raise the awareness of the importance of the participation of young people in the development of their families, communities and the society as a whole.


ART DIRECTION: 
It is based on vibrant colors where the typography is the protagonist. It is an authentic urban and expressionist fresh style.

SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT:
In the leading up to the event, we shared inspiring stories of how young people across the world stand up for human rights
followed by influencer shoutout videos and countdown posts.

We decided to focus on Facebook as it is the most popular social media in Cambodia.
To promote the event and spread the maximum awareness, we split the campaign into two channels:
- Facebook event page
- Facebook news feed post on the event page and OHCHR one.

Before the event, the total number of people reached was very high, reaching 1.7M people.
It shows that our content reached the maximum number of people.
