TSB Sugar which was founded in 1965 is one of the largest sugar producers in South Africa, producing over 30% of South Africa’s total sugar output. TSB head office is strategically positioned in the Mpumalanga lowveld, with its primary mill and head office at Malalane. It also has a mill at Komatipoort, rated as the most modern sugar factory in South Africa. The company employs about 4 700 people and provides support to more than 1 400 commercial and small-scale cane farmers who operate on 47 000 hectares of irrigated land.
