Bespoke Designer at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars (2015-2019)

ROLLS-ROYCE MOTOR CARS 2015-2019
I had the chance to work in Goodwood for almost 5 years, I learn a lot about craftsmanship, materials and to pay attention to details. Over the years, my job evolved to leading a small team and meeting with customers from all over the world. In parallel I also had the opportunity to work on a broad range of projects: luggage set, accessories, collection cars, coachbuild.
From 2020, I kept regularly working with them as a freelance designer, which allowed me to stay involved with very high-end projects that I started before leaving, and also to work on One-Off cars for motorshows or Accessories projects.

Escapism Luggage Collection
The brief for the design competition was to design a Luggage Set inspired by the character of Cullinan. During the two weeks of design competition I had to define theme, character and materials, as well as sketch and work on 4 pieces of luggage : tote bag, holdall and weekenders. I wanted leather (typical from RR) assorted with canvas to give a more relaxed style that fits the explorer side of Cullinan. I also wanted the design to be essential while luxurious with minimal RR branding. The lines needed to be simple and elegant, the leather wrapping around the canvas to protect it, the touching parts to be in
leather for a more sensual relationship with the object and a stitch line at the bottom of the bag to create a thread between them. My design was selected and developped before being presented at Pebble Beach in August 2019.
