COVER, CONCEPT, MOOD- Putting all 20 outfits together took a lot of research, patience, and dedication. My collection evolved through the process as compared to designs that were thought of initially. The collection became more about prints with simple yet exaggerated silhouettes. Everything came together as a whole with 20 gratifying outfits. It was a top priority to fuse my inspiration within the designs of these outfits.

COLOR CHART-The colour palette has been inspired by the colour trends of the ’60s. All the colours in the rainbow have been used making everything manic oriented, I have tried to focus more on the manic state than the depressive state. Depression was shown through a solid black.

INSPIRATION CHART-The Inspiration is taken from pills and capsules,opposite emotions, prints, artistic write-ups and ideas.

FABRIC CHART- Combination of natural and poylyester fabrics were used.The polyester fabric was used to design a voluminous silhouette combined with some exquisite pure silk taffeta, for the ruffles.

PRINTS AND EMBROIDERY CHART-The concept of bipolar is all about opposite emotions, which made me use the reverse side of a backstitch embroidery. Medication and healing were explored in the form of capsules and pills.After observing various types of pills and capsules and photographing them, silhouettes of the capsules were used with an addition of floral burst inside the same to represent a manic state, doodles of capsules and write-ups was then converted into prints.
