Oh, The Places You'll Go

A Collection of Postcard Illustrations
For my project for third-year Illustration project I had to illustrate a series of postcards which could all be grouped together under a theme of my choice. I chose to name my series "Oh, The Places You'll Go" to illustrate all the wonderful places that I hope to visit one day.
The Library Of A Thousand Books

For this postcard I worked with acrylic ink to create the outlines and proceeded to add colour and patterns in Photoshop.
Sea World

I created this postcard in Adobe Photoshop. I just started with sketching out the different type of coral and colouring them in. Once I was finished I had the idea of playing around with the hue and saturation to create a bold and colourful underwater world.
China Town

I always liked the bright colour seen in China Town and I therefore decided to combine a beautiful image of China Town with my favourite medium, coloured pencils. I had a particularly fun time creating this postcard!
Rolling Hills

This postcard started out as a fully embroidered piece of cloth which took me quite a few hours to complete. Everything was done by hand and scanned into my laptop once it was completed.
The Garden Party

The plants visible in this postcard was created using gouache and then I later drew in the animals in Photoshop.
