Nexium 24 Hr: Rex
After the huge success of the first character we designed and created for Nexium 24HR, the agency came back to us to create a second compelling character to become a visual representation of pain and burning discomfort of heartburn. We wanted to combine the juxtaposition of the crocodile leathery surface with the feeling as if he was on fire from within. The result was incredible textural details from the tip of his horns, to the fingernails on his feet, to the burning embers across his belly that pulled in the feeling of hot coals. This combined with amazing character design and emotion within his face is hands down one of our favs!
