ThinkFast and CMYPC Retreats take place annually, during the Easter and summer seasons respectively. Combining fellowship, fun activities and spiritual service and reflection, the events help youth and young adult Catholics recognize the importance of their faith.

How can I design unisex T-Shirts for adolescents (who have very particular, varied tastes) that they would like to wear, and that will be iconic for each event? How will I channel Christian ideals and symbolism? 

I took inspiration from conference and sporting event T-shirts and was careful to make each design distinct from the last year’s. As Easter has a plethora of associated symbolism, and each year’s retreat has a different theme and given Bible verse, I looked to traditional Catholic imagery and life lessons as the central focus, remaining mindful of the type-to-graphic relationships.
