For school I got a assignment to make a news paper illustration. We could choose from 3 different articles. I choose the article about the school exams. My idea is to make a lot of small rooms where the students must make their exams.

  

  

First, I started with a sketch. My theater gave me the idea to play a bit with the perspective to give the illustration more depth, so I made a couple of different versions and chose the first one to continue working on.

  

My idea was to make small rooms for the students, but I got feedback that the illustration didn’t have a focus point and it would probably look better if it had one. So, I came with the idea to have a teacher watch over them. This way the illustration would look more interesting and eye catching.
