"Barış Baran-Kanyak" Cover Design 

An illustration for a rapper "Barış Baran".This work is for his latest song "Kanyak".

In the lyrics of his song he says "Feed the crow ,if you got any bouncer eye." This saying also references to an another saying in Turkish; "Feed the crow and you'll see it's going to dig out your eye."

Kanyak means Cognac in Turkish.And Barış and I decided to place his name and songs title to the packing of the cognac bottle.

There is his songs lyrics written on the papers in front of him.And the photo behind him references to a Turkish philosopher Rıza Tevfik Bölükbaşı.When that photo was taken Rıza Tevfik was saying to his daughters "It is my turn to talk now.You should be silence and should listen." We decided to add that photo.Because it was Barış's turn to talk and childrens turn to listen.
