Food is an intensely emotional and visceral aspect of life. The tastes and even smells of foods can bring about vivid memories of the past, of loved ones, of specific seasons, or favorite pastimes.
A recipe on the other hand is a dry set of instructions. For this project, students work to present a recipe in a way that elicits some of those vivid feelings, while exploring how type and illustration can work together in a composition.
