Design the cover for Murakami Norwegian Wood.
Solution
I focused on the themes of ‘sex, passion and desire’ all prevalent themes within the novel. I echoed the red of the Tokyo culture in both the image colouring and text, as well as drawing from minimalistic and clean aspects. The strips of the face represent the fragments memories and being transported back in time.
