Myself with the bench, a few moments after the unveiling - 2019
Illustrations made for Black Sabbath's "Heavy Metal Bench". The portraits of the four members were painted digitally and later transformed into metal plates, to become part of the street memorial that is set on Broad Street, Birmingham, UK.

The idea of this bench is the brainchild of Mohammed Osama (@mohdosama), who designed the bench, as part of several tributes he had paid his musical idols. The project was developed through the efforts of Westside BID and the municipality of Birmingham.
The illustrations were turned into metal plates by Stewart Francis Etch Components.
Adam Marshall Norse Forge Jewelry hand crafted and engraved the gold crosses.
The bench was fabricated by Gateway Steel Fabrications.
The bench was first unveiled at St. Luke's Church in early 2019, before finally settling into its designated spot months later, over the newly-named "Black Sabbath Bridge" in Broad Street.
Today, numerous fans of Sabbath visit Birmingham from various cities just to find the bench and get their photos taken with the four members who originated metal music.
