“Soon, there will be more plastic than fish in the sea by 2050.”
Plastic Aquarium projects an illustration series in the matter of plastic pollution, drawn to show the situation of the future ocean. It focuses on radical illustrations of the polluted aquarium, to show the reality of where the plastic waste goes.
Plastic is used for our convenience, yet we never think of the consequences of using it almost every single day. People tend to blame plastic as visible pollution but it cannot be. It is how humans use plastic as a lifestyle habit and how we manage waste.
In short, we are too comfortable with plastic.
