British Heart Foundation - Fictional Project

The Project:

I created a series of 4 interactive QR posters aimed at getting the younger generation (aged 15-30yrs) to make more informed health decisions now, to prevent heart disease in the future.

Designed for high impact, they show some of the main causes of heart disease and the visible impact they will have on the body. Scannable QR codes would link to pages on the British Heart Foundation website and act as a point of interaction for the public.

Final Images:
After planning out the series of images, a photographer on the course I was studying took pictures of the model. I took these base images and manipulated them to show a very visual but gradual deterioration of health. I had to very carefully alter the overall appearance of the model realistically with photoshop, but in such a way that the viewer never doubted the believability of the image. The message had to be the focus of the campaign.

Detail:
Additionally, these QR codes would be shown in areas the target market wouldn't associate with health - Food courts, corner shops, on the commute back and forth from work. The viewer would see the QR codes with symbols related to the health cause of heart disease, and remember the series of adverts.
