Cover illustration and lettering for ' Connections: An Anthology'

Ducklings & Co. is an all female collective that creates beautiful illustration and design centric stories and projects. I was invited to create the cover for their first anthology.

For the theme of connections, I chose to focus on our connection with the natural world. As the world around us changes rapidly, many of us are losing touch with nature. Playing in green fields, rolling in the mud, chasing butterflies— these were things that hopefully a lot of us did as children but their value and importance fades away as we get engrossed in our adult lives. There is no way that we can move forward if we forget to love, respect and care for the natural world that surrounds us and I hope we never lose that connection.
