The ULI Global Award for Excellence is awarded through the Urban Land Institute (ULI), a non-profit research and education organization whose mission is to facilitate the exchange of ideas, information, and expertise among real estate development and land use industry leaders. As a part of this mission, ULI provides recognition for exemplary developments and professionals.
Since its inception in 1979, the Global Award for Excellence has honored top land use practices in the public, private, and non-profit sectors. Judges assess a project’s value based on financial success and market acceptance, as well as excellence in management, amenities, planning, construction, economics, architecture, and design. Projects also are evaluated based on relevance to and positive impact in their communities, sustainability, and whether processes can be applied to other projects.
