El Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID) con sede en Washington, ha publicado el documento titulado «Del confinamiento a la reapertura: Consideraciones estratégicas para el reinicio de las actividades en América Latina y el Caribe en el marco de la COVID-19».
Una publicación dirigida a guiar a los tomadores de decisiones, en América Latina y el Caribe, en la difícil tarea de determinar cuándo y cómo liberar las restricciones y reanudar las actividades socioeconómicas.
Nuestro objetivo con el diseño de la portada y los contenidos era presentar una propuesta limpia, clara y de fácil lectura, priorizando las múltiples jerarquías presentes en la publicación, con un espíritu académico pero moderno, que permita al lector discernir fácilmente los contenidos sin sentirse apabullado por la cantidad de cifras y datos presentes.
La portada: Si se observa con cuidado en portada, justo en el centro del laberinto hay una letra C de confinamiento. El laberinto representa la grave problemática en la que nos sume el COVID-19 y los caminos, algunos difíciles y otros que nos conducirán a la salida, a los que se deberán enfrentar los países de Latinoamérica y el Caribe para lograr crear una «nueva normalidad» que ayude a sus ciudadanos y la economía a salir delante de esta contingencia.

Our goal with the graphic design was to present a clean, clear and easy-to-read proposal, prioritizing the multiple hierarchies presented in the publication, with an academic but modern spirit, which allows the reader to easily read the content without feeling overwhelmed for the amount of text, figures and data.
The Cover: If you look carefully, right in the center of the maze there is a letter C for confinement. The labyrinth represents the serious problem in which we are because COVID-19. The paths represent the choices we have, some of them more difficult than others and some that lead to the exit. This are the choices countries of Latin America and the Caribbean will have to make to create the "new normal" in order to help citizens and economy to get ahead of this contingency.
