A realistic editorial illustration of a dangerous bacterial culture for an article about multiresistant germs in hospitals. Usually bacterial cultures look quite boring. My task was to make it visually more dangerous and alive. The illustration was done for the German newspaper Süddeutsche Zeitung.

An additional task was to create several small illustrations of different germ shapes.
