This project is a novel redesign project. I chose the novel "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets". The task was to choose a specific part of the story and redesign the novel based on that part. My concept was "An Unexpected Alliance" and my theme was "An Astonishing Bond of Two Forces". My idea was to change up the story and give it a twist by having Lord Voldemort joining forces with Harry Potter to defeat a greater evil. 

 

The novel is utilizing one chapter of the book and then broken down into 3 separate chapters. I used 2 typefaces – Georgia for the body copy, and a custom typeface called Aquilline. A modular grid was used for the layout for a more interesting outcome. I used a mix of vectors and illustrations for my graphic element.
