Yes - during the worldwide COVID-19 lockdown. And no - it wasn't about COVID-19.
Lidl Romania wanted to promote the extensive range of Gelatelli, their in-house brand of ice cream. So meet The Ice Cream Stories, an online video series set inside a building whose every single tenant enjoyed their ice cream in their own different way.
CUT. ENTER GLOBAL PANDEMIC.
So what was initially planned to be an extensive three-day-long shooting turned into a 3D-animation, with a storyline narrowed to two families. And it came out this way below.
