BLEEDING EDGE // Motion Design Package
Dazzle Ship asked me to develop a suite of assets for the new multiplayer online combat game "BLEEDING EDGE". Together we took the concept from art direction to the final stages of motion graphics production. This specific video is the main piece of the design package.

PROCESS
The animated character assets have been provided by the talented game devs at "Ninja theory". My role was to develop a unique look, stage the fighters, and get them into a dynamic narrative for a suite of motion graphic assets. 

I was working with C4D and RS. The cartoon shading is made by mixing outlines (curvature and AO) and different masked patterns. All procedural. Besides a simple shadow catcher setup, there is no lighting involved, and the scenes are fast to render. An additional direct diffuse AOV was used for the comp in AE where I brought in "some" elements of different 2D FX packs and postFX.
