The visual identity revolves around the graphic device of ‘wishing stones’ – in which veins of quartz form when the rock cracks under tectonic pressure – a symbol for the major turning points in life a celebrant supports. The blind embossing of the wordmark reflects the role of the celebrant as a ceremony officiator: a warm, dependable and yet subtle presence.
