Branding a Nation: Guatemala

Symbols and logos are just a few of the items that identify a country. I decided to create a logo for Guatemala because it’s my country of origin. I wanted to show appreciation of my birthplace and share its customs with others. I chose to feature the quetzal bird in my logo because it is the national bird of Guatemala and signifies independence. The design is supposed to convey what I believe symbolizes the people and culture of Guatemala.
