Studies based on Heinrich's model show that for every 600 incidents that occur in medical procedures, 30 are noticeable, 10 are the result of an accident, and one ends in a fatal result.
In the field of minimally invasive surgery, 90% of serious errors occur in the first 30 surgeries due to inexperience in the work process.
In Mexico, the education model has been introduced using simulators to reduce the number of errors in surgical procedures. However, students have limited access to simulation centers, in addition to having simulators in poor condition.

As a final proposal, a laparoscopic box-type simulator model () was developed, which is made up of a flexible polymer, which allows the user to easily store and transport it to carry out practices outside the simulation centers of the medical schools.

It is intended to extend the research of the project seeking to implement the use of sensors and exercises that help the haptic sensation of the user to have a closer approach to the reality of laparoscopic surgery, as well as the implementation of the use of virtual reality.
